Alaska Salmon Fishing on the Kenai and Kasilof Rivers
River and stream salmon fishing in Alaska is a major part of our charter offerings. We own and operate four power boat “sleds” rigged for the Kenai River and four fully outfitted Willie drift boats for the Kasilof River, and for drift fishing the upper and middle Kenai
Alaska Halibut Fishing at Cook Inlet
Our newest Halibut machine is a 31 ft Koffler with lower cabin and head. It provides comfortable fishing with all the gear needed to land a big halibut. We combine your charter to catch salmon also.
The Badger has caught thousands of halibut and salmon during its tenure. That fishing success will continue as we will run two boats for Halibut and Halibut/Salmon combos daily.
Operated by experienced and fully licensed captains, including owner Dustin Russell, our charters launch from Anchor Point daily at 7:00 AM and stay on the water at least 8 hours. We fish the tides for your halibut limit and troll for salmon when available.

Fly Fishing Throughout Alaska's Kenai Peninsula
Fly fishing on the Kenai Peninsula is a unique experience. Depending on the time of year, you might fish for Steelhead on the Kasilof, or Anchor River on a walk in. The Russian River and Quartz Creek are also easily accessible and provide great trout and salmon action. Fly fishing is an important part of Russell’s fishing portfolio. From a sled on the middle river or in the upper canyon in a drift boat, (we access one of the few limited permits) we will give you plenty of room to practice your existing skills or learn from an expert guide. By only scheduling 2 people per boat, you will never think you are just dragging your lines along. With trophy rainbow and Dolly Varden approaching 10 lbs, its not unusual for each angler to catch dozens of trout per day..
